Andrea Goldblum

Andrea Goldblum is the Civil Rights Coordinator at Kenyon College and is responsible for monitoring and coordinating compliance with nondiscrimination laws, and for investigating/overseeing investigations of all complaints alleging discrimination on the basis of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, and disability. She also serves as the Title IX Coordinator, Section 504 Coordinator and Clery Act Coordinator. Andrea develops and implements case management plans, provides educational and training programs and materials, and consults, advises and provides guidance regarding compliance, behavioral and discrimination issues.

Prior to joining Kenyon College, Andrea was the Manager of Regulatory Compliance at Margolis Healy where she was responsible for regulatory compliance related services, which include Clery and Title IX compliance and assessments, reviewing training programs, and student conduct related issues. She continues to work with Margolis Healy as an Associate.

Before her employment with Margolis Healy, Andrea was the Compliance Director and Title IX and Clery Act Coordinator at The Ohio State University (OSU) in the Office of University Compliance and Integrity. She joined The Ohio State University as the Director of Student Conduct in 2005, serving in that role for eight years. 

Andrea has 25 years of professional experience in a number of areas in addition to Student Conduct and Title IX at six different universities including Georgia Tech, Roger Williams University, Florida International University and Salisbury University. She has served as an Assistant Dean of Students, Chief Housing Officer and Director of Sexual Harassment Policy. Andrea helped create the first Restorative Justice Program in the US while at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and has since written and presented on the topic. She continues to present programs and trainings nationally on a number of topics, including investigating and handling sexual assault cases, crisis response, media relations and institutional politics. She authored a chapter on Restorative Justice in Reframing Campus Conflict: Student Conduct through a Social Justice Lens (Stylus 2009).

Andrea is currently pursuing a Master’s in the Study of Law at OSU’s Moritz College of Law, and previously earned a M.A. in Higher Education Administration at the University of Michigan in 1989. She holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Miami.
